Expanding Investor Reach, EBA Retail SMF Collaborates With BRI Danareksa Sekuritas

JAKARTA PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF is collaborating with BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (BRIDS) by providing Asset-Backed Asset Securities transaction services in the form of Retail Participation Certificates (EBA-SP) through BRIDS' online trading application.

President Director of SMF, Ananta Wiyogo said, the EBA-SP Retail Market Development Program was implemented aimed at developing the number of EBA-SP investors with individual investors targeting, taking advantage of the existing EBA-SP position.

In this case, SMF will play a market maker to create a secondary EBA-SP market to become more liquid.

Previously, EBA-SP was owned by many institutional investors such as Pension Funds (Dapen), Insurance, and others. This inaugural collaboration is our effort to expand and develop base investors, namely potential investors such as millennials and other communities who want to invest. EBA-SP Retail will be diversified for the public in investing in the capital market," said Ananta in her statement, Thursday, April 25.

To implement this, he continued, SMF cooperates with BRIDS, which already has online trading portals and applications that serve investment and share transactions, mutual funds and other effects.

"We hope that Retail EBA-SP can be in demand by individual investors, so that in the future we can make Retail EBA-SP an alternative option for attractive and safe investment," said Ananta.

BRIDS President Director Laksono Widodo on the same occasion also revealed that this collaboration with SMF is in line with the Company's mission to continue to provide added value for retail investors to achieve the best results in their investment activities, as well as an effort to provide easy access and capital market services for the wider community to support the development of the Indonesian capital market.

"With the presence of EBA Retail products by SMF in our BRIGHTS online trading application, of course, it will further enrich the choice of investment products that our customers can invest in, in addition to available instruments such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds at this time, only one application is enough," concluded Laksono.

EBA-SP Retail is a secure fixed income investment product with an idAAA rating from PEFINDO and has a high liquidity of investment instruments.

So that customers can make purchase and sale transactions at any time without having to wait until they are due.

The EBA SP Retail SMF products that will be marketed by BRI Danareksa Sekuritas are EBA SP BTN06A which was issued in 2020 (6.5 percent / year), EBA SP BTN08A issued in 2023 (6.65 percent / year), and EBAS SP BRIS01A issued in 2023 (7 percent / year) with an idAA rating from PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) with a denomination of only IDR 100,000.
