Mazda Releases EV And PHEV Version EZ-6 For China Market
JAKARTA - Changan Mazda, Mazda's joint venture with Changan Automobile, officially launched the latest EZ-6 model.
This sedan-style car is an electrification line exhibited at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Beijing Auto Show) 2024.
President & CEO Mazda Masahiro Moroe, said the presence of EZ-6 began the company's electrification steps using technology developed by Changan Automobile, especially for the Chinese market.
"In the future, Mazda will continue to work with Changan Automobile to change Mazda's business in China by introducing unique products that meet the needs of customers who prefer advanced vehicles," Moro said on the company's official website, Thursday, April 25.
The sedan carries the company's distinctive design language, namely the Kodo Soul of Motion, combined with the philosophy of satisfaction in driving instilled by Mazda from a long time ago, Jinba-ittai.
Mazda EZ-6 is quite large with a length of 4,921 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,485 mm. The car is equipped with a 19-inch rim wrapped in 245/45R tires.
Offered with a five-seater configuration, users can be spoiled with a leading safety and comfort system, including advanced ADAS and accident mitigation technology.

In addition, Mazda EZ-6 has a smart system that can be controlled by sound, even when the driver is outside the vehicle. In addition, smart cabin technology is also presented which is operated in a number of ways, including voice control, touch and movement.
This model offers two versions, namely Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). For BEV, this sedan offers a distance of up to 600 km and PHEV can go as far as 1,000 km from the merger of batteries with fuel.
