Netizens Reveal Dev Patel Was In Batam To Shoot Monkey Man
JAKARTA - Actor Dev Patel is reportedly in Batam to shoot his latest film, Monkey Man.
This news was shared by Dev Patel's fan account on Friday, March 5 via social media. In the 30-second video, the Mumbai Hotel player appears to have ended the shooting process.
Netizens can also see the logo of a supermarket and one of the film crews wearing the clothes of a local production house.

The news of this film has been announced since 2018. Dev Patel will star and make his directorial debut through Monkey Man.
The film Monkey Man tells the story of Kid (Dev Patel) who emerges from a prison to face a world that is greedy for a party. Launching THR today, March 7, this thriller film contains an action of revenge with a blend of elements of Indian mythology.
This film was made by Patel with Paul Angunawela and John Collee and Basil Iwanyk while Joe Thomas and Samarth Sahni are in the executive producer position.
The production of the Monkey Man film has been carried out since 2019, where Patel was assisted by Chung Chung-hoon in the DOP section. It is not yet known when Monkey Man will be shown in theaters.
