Lee Jae-yong (Jay Y. Lee) or Jae-yong is the supreme leader alias Executive Chairman of Samsung Electronics. He was born on June 23, 1968 in Seoul, South Korea. The man who is now approximately 55 years old is studying at Kyungbock High School, Seoul National University (Bachelor of Arts). He also received a Master of Business Administration from Keio University.
Jae-yong's story is like a Korean drama. He is Lee Kun-hee's only son who was previously Samsung's big boss. From the start Jae-yong was indeed called the crown prince, especially by people who worked in Samsung.

Quoted from Forbes, Jae-yong and his family are also in the process of managing an inheritance of 12 trillion won or around 8.5 billion US dollars. The magazine also said that Jae-yong's wealth touched 11.5 billion US dollars or around Rp. 185 trillion.
Despite being the richest person in South Korea, Jae-yong's life is not really smooth. He has even tasted the coldness of iron bars, one of which was due to the bribery and embezzlement of funds in 2017. He is said to have bribed the confidants of former President Park Geun-hye even though in 2018 Jae-yong was released.
In 2021 Jae-yong will have to return to trial with the results of a prison sentence of two and a half years without a presidential pardon.
