"After that I felt very tired maybe from work or activities on that day and also after facing a tantrumd child. But I realized that I suddenly cried, because I felt predicted (energy drained)" he added.

Tantrum is considered to be one of the scary moments for parents. When children tantrum, usually they cry, scream, until they beat their feet or beat them by sitting on the floor while kicking their feet.

Citing the Ministry of Health's website, tantrums are common behavioral problems experienced by preschoolers expressing their anger by sleeping on the outside, struggling, shouting, and usually holding back their breath.

"The tantrum is an explosion of behavior that reflects the response to children's frustrations," said Dr. Dr. I Gusti Ayu Trisna Windiani, SpA(K) in an online seminar by the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) regarding the tantrum: How to Prevent and Overcome it?

Although it often worries him, Dr. Trisna ensures that tantrums are a normal development. However, dealing with tantrum children cannot be arbitrary, it takes patience and determination from parents so that they do not lose to tantrum children.

For this reason, it is important for parents to continue to monitor the social and emotional development of children based on the age of children.

"For example, at the age of 15 months, children must be able to show empathy, when a person cries, the child will look sad. Or reply to adult hugs, and others," said dr. Trisna.

Although called a natural process and occurring in almost all children, dr. Trisna explained a number of causes of tantrums, including children's physiological conditions and health problems.

"Children who are tired, hungry, bored or frustrated can make tantrums. In addition, when experiencing health such as sleep disorders can also trigger a tantrum," he added.

Tantrum can also occur when a child wants or refuses something, seeks parental attention. In addition, children with special needs also have the potential to experience tantrums more often because they are unable to convey what they want well.

It is undeniable that gadgets or gadgets have become one of the 'friends' of children in today' era. In fact, a number of studies have stated that allowing children, especially those under the age of five, playing gadgets for too long is not wise.

Children who often play gadgets are more easily exposed to emission radiation that can cause cancer. In addition, playing gadgets for too long can also reduce children's concentration and trigger tantrums.

"Children who watch or play gadgets for more than 20 minutes, 66 percent experience hanging tantrums," explained dr. Trisna.

"Gudget presentations take too long to turn behavior negative," added the doctor who graduated from Udayana University.

Doctor Trisna said the tantrum cannot be taken lightly. Allowing children to tantrum continuously can have bad consequences for the psychological condition of children in the future.

"Children who continue to tantrum from childhood will have an effect on their behavior when they grow up, including not having empathy. Therefore, parents should be more careful with funds for children's mental development," he said.
