Madonna Is Again Sued For Late Concert Begins

JAKARTA - Queen Music Pop, Madonna seems to have a bad habit of holding a late concert. This made her have to face the lawsuit again.

The lawsuit this time came from spectators attending his concert in Washington DC, United States some time ago. Madonna is considered to show disrespect for her fans, with the late concert.

Meanwhile, a lawsuit against Madonna was filed in DC federal court on Friday, April 19 last week.

Three fans, Elizabeth Halper-Asefi, Mary Conoboy, and Maria Monte, Jr. claim that the diva broke the law by late coming to the stage for two hours while performing at the Capital One Arena in December 2023.

The lawsuit also included the promoter, Live Nation as the defendant.

"Forcing consumers to wait hours for their performances in a hot and uncomfortable arena is showing Madonna's arrogance and disrespect for her fans," the plaintiff's attorney wrote in his statement, citing Billboard.

"The point is, Madonna and Live Nation are consumer's worst dreams," he continued.

The plaintiff's lawyer said the lawsuit did not mean that his client did not want to wait until late at night, but because there were people who still had responsibilities and other activities the next day.

"This complaint is not about fans who are unhappy and don't want to stay up late, but about people who make sense and are responsible for having a commitment to taking care of children, working, getting their vehicles out of the parking lot which was closed at exactly midnight, and realizing that public transportation is no longer operating," he said.

In the lawsuit, it was stated that Madonna had just risen to the stage at 22:40 p.m. local time, although the start schedule was scheduled for 20.30 p.m.

In a similar case before, Madonna asked the court to reject the lawsuit filed against her in New York, citing late start-time concerts.
