Honda City Hatchback Facelift Launches In Malaysia 2nd Quarter, Orders Are Opened

JAKARTA - Honda Malaysia has opened a new City Hatchback facelift order, and the launch of the car will launch in the second quarter of 2024 in the country.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Tuesday, April 23, the ranks of the models will still be present in the e: HEV variant of the hospital, as has been sold in Malaysia but carries several changes.

The hatchback will get a new look in the form of black accents on the edge and on the grip. In addition, the new bumper with fog light decorations also emphasizes this facelift version which looks more sporty.

Meanwhile, the back looks the same as the version that has already launched in Thailand, such as a revised diffuser element on the lower apron, with a vertical fin to accompany a 16-inch rim that is more sporty wrapped in the Berlina Black.

In terms of heart runways, e: HEV is equipped with a hybrid Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) system which makes the front wheel driven by electric motors with 107 hp and 253 PS.

The embedded electric motor is powered by a lithium-ion battery connected to a four-cylinder machine of the DOHC i-VTEC 1.5 liter which is naturally sucked in and run on the Atkinson cycle.

The hybrid produces 97 hp and 127 Nm of torque power, combined with the E-CVC transmission, which functions to drive directly into wheels at the most efficient speed.

Meanwhile, the ordinary variant will also be available, and will remain powered by an inline-four 1.5 liter DOHC i-VTEC machine that is naturally sucked in which produces 119 hp or 89 Nm of power at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm, with front wheels driving through CVT.
