Losing At The Constitutional Court, Anies Baswedan: We Will Continue To Commit To The Movement For Change
JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan emphasized that he remains committed to being at the line of the change movement with vice president Muhaimin Iskandar after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK).
"Ladies and gentlemen, for all this reason, we will continue to be committed to the movement of change with long-term ideals to strengthen the pillars of democracy and bring justice and prosperity to all on any occasion we can achieve in the future," said Anies, Monday, April 22.
Anies and Cak Imin emphasized the goal of building a democratic country that provides space for free speech.
"Where citizens are free to choose without the lure of a moment of reward, and pressure or threats. This will not stop, we must continue to fight together," he continued.

In his statement, Anies emphasized to his supporters that the Constitutional Court's decision was the end of a constitutional struggle.
"But brothers and sisters, to all supporters who have entrusted us with the aspirations of change as presidential and vice presidential candidates, we must convey, this is where our constitutional struggle ends in this presidential election," said Anies.
"Today's Constitutional Court decision marks the end of the 2024 presidential election. Today's Constitutional Court decision marks the end of the entire 2024 presidential election process," he continued.
