AHY Hands Over 55 Land Consolidation Certificates For Victims Of The 2022 Cianjur Earthquake
JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or AHY handed over 55 land certificates resulting from land restructuring or land consolidation, for people affected by the Cianjur earthquake in 2022.
The handover was given to residents of Cikadu II Village, Gasol Village, Cugenang District, Cianjur, West Java, Sunday, who had previously agreed to give up the land covering an area of 5,604 m2 for government management to build public facilities for the common good.
"We are making efforts to rebuild this village, which has been destroyed and has also arranged it even better. Especially the road access which was previously very narrow, so it is good for transportation," he said.
AHY said that the awarding of the certificate is a tangible form of the government in order to present sustainable community spatial planning.
According to him, the positive impact of the rearrangement for the residents' economy is that the land price, which was originally Rp. 200 thousand per meter, has now become Rp. 500 thousand per meter.
"Before the consolidation, the land was valued at around Rp. 200 per meter, now it is around Rp. 300-500 per meter. This is because there was access earlier because transportation is easier," AHY said as quoted by Antara.

Previously, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) said that Agrarian Reform in urban areas could be carried out, one of which was through asset legalization.
"The implementation of Agrarian Reform in urban areas in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 62 of 2023 concerning the Acceleration of the Implementation of Agrarian Reform can be done through asset legalization, land redistribution, distribution of benefits, and land consolidation," said Director General of Agrarian Arrangement of the Ministry of ATR/BPN Dalu Agung Darmawan in the Socialization of Land/Agrarian Policy and Spatial Planning on Agrarian Reform in commemoration of National Press Day in Jakarta, Tuesday (20/2).
