According to information, the disabled man equipped with two body support sticks was prohibited from taking an online taxi by a man suspected of being an offline taxi driver in the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal area.

Due to the ban, the man with a disability who was suspected of being a bus passenger finally canceled taking an online taxi from inside the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal area.

The incident was caught on amateur video of residents and went viral on social media. In the widely spread video recording, it contains a narrative that a taxi base prohibits online taxis from operating into the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal. The commotion occurred on Saturday, April 20.

From witness testimony, initially there was a black Daihatsu Sigra car that came into the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal area. Then the man with a disability was about to get into the online taxi motorbike. However, the offline taxi driver immediately approached the online taxi and reprimanded him.

"Offline taxi drivers asked if the key was to be taken or continue the journey. Finally, the online taxi chose to continue the journey (going without transporting passengers with disabilities). The disabled man was told to walk forward if he wanted to take an online taxi," he said.
