Anambas Islands Police Chief, AKBP Apri Fajar Hermanto through an official statement received in Natuna, Wednesday said riding an electric bicycle on the highway could endanger the safety of the soul, be it yourself or others. The appeal, he said, must be heeded because there has been an accident in the area due to electric bicycles being driven on the highway. "Following up on reports from the community, the Anambas Police issued a firm appeal to parents and the school so as not to arbitrarily allow their students to ride electric bicycles on public roads or to school," he said.
