Elon Musk Says ChatGPT And Gemini Can End Civilization

JAKARTA Elon Musk, the owner of platform X, said that Artificial Intelligence(AI) like OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini is dangerous. These two AI chatbots are claimed to be able to end civilization. Musk said this when he considered the post made by Professor Gad Saad of Canada. The professor said that the subjective statement of trueness was a principle of postmodernism, a mindset that was contrary to modernism principles. "'The truth is subjective' is the main principle of postmodernism. This is why I call it the progenitor of all pathogens of parasitic ideas," said Saad via platform X. This statement is a criticism for NPR CEOmen Maher. Musk seems to agree with Saad's statement. The billionaire explained that the postmodernism mindset added into a program could end civilization. He also said that the mindset was on ChatGPT and Gemini.

"Now imagine if this is programmed, explicitly or implicitly, into a very powerful AI, it can end civilization. Now, there's no need to imagine. It's already programmed into Google Gemini and OpenAI ChatGPT," Musk said. This is not the first time Musk has criticized Gemini, especially ChatGPT. The SpaceX owner often criticizes or even quips ChatGPT on his personal account. In fact, Musk was part of OpenAI when the company was just founded. Currently, Musk already has a new AI company, namely xAI. The company created a Grok that is claimed to be better than ChatGPT because it can simulate human conversations. However, ChatGPT users are still more compared to Grok.
