WHO Will Soon Release Full Report Of The Corona Virus Investigation Team In Wuhan

JAKARTA - WHO will immediately release a report from the results of an investigation in Wuhan regarding the origin of the Corona virus. Some of the findings and the complete report will be published to the public in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Reporting from The Wall Street Journal, WHO Director Thedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus revealed that he would soon release a brief summary of the findings of the investigation team in Wuhan, China.

"By definition, summary reports don't have all the details," said Ben Embarek, head of the WHO's investigative team, Friday, March 5.

"So because so many are interested in this report, a summary alone will not satisfy the reader's curiosity," he added.

Meanwhile, according to Ned Price, who serves as a spokesman for the United States Department of State, urged China to share any data they already knew at the beginning of the emergence of the corona virus.

"It's about learning and doing, being positioned to do everything we can to protect ourselves, the American people and the international community from the threat of a future pandemic," Price said. "Hence, we need this understanding. That's why we need transparency from the Chinese government. "

The WHO investigative team is divided into three groups, partly focused on animal involvement, partly on the spread of disease, the last group is examining the findings of the sample. The entire team has collected the latest evidence after conducting research at Huanan Seafood Market.

Embarek found that the number of cases was greater than that reported by the Chinese government. In fact, as of December 2019, more than 1,000 residents of Wuhan have contracted the virus. Meanwhile, in Hubei, it is five times bigger than the government report of the Bamboo Curtain country.
