KPK Summons Sidoarjo Regent Regarding Alleged Cuts In Employee Incentives Today
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of the Sidoarjo Regent, Ahmad Mudhlor Ali, today. The examination relates to the case of alleged cuts and receipts of incentive funds within the Sidoarjo Regional Tax Service Agency (BPPD).
"The Investigative Team has scheduled the summons and examination of one of the related parties in this case, on behalf of Ahmad Mudhlor Ali (the Regent of Sidoarjo for the period 2021 until now)," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in his statement, Friday, April 19.
Ahmad Mudhlor Ali will be questioned with his capacity as a suspect. The examination process is planned to take place at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta.
"Investigating cases of alleged deductions and receipts of money within the Sidoarjo Regency Government BPPD with the suspect SW et al," said Ali.
Meanwhile, the KPK named Ahmad Muhdlor Ali as a suspect in the alleged extortion of employees within the Regional Tax Service Agency (BPPD). In this case, they have already arrested the Head of the General Subdivision of Personnel of the BPPD Sidoarjo Siska Wati as a suspect through a hand arrest operation (OTT) which resulted in the discovery of Rp69.9 million.

Furthermore, investigators determined the Head of BPPD Sidoarjo Ari Suyono. Siska allegedly cut a total of around Rp. 2.7 billion since 2023.
The notification of the money cut is said to have been done verbally. Employees are also not allowed to discuss it via text message.
