Not Passing To Parliament, The Chairman Of PPP Denies Being Called "misguided" To Support Ganjar-Mahfud
Plt Chairman of PPP Muhamad Mardiono denied that his party was in the wrong direction by supporting Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate (candidate).
According to him, this assumption was wrong because the assessment was obtained after PPP failed to qualify for Parliament. Meanwhile, at that time, when declaring Ganjar as a PPP presidential candidate, he was considered to have taken the right steps.
"Maybe the observer said the wrong direction when we didn't succeed, but when we declared Mr. Ganjar, many praised PPP. PPP chose the right steps," Mardiono said in the ROSI program, Thursday, April 18, evening.
Mardiono said PPP took steps to move quickly by declaring Ganjar as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election because Ganjar's electability in various surveys was already high.
