TKN Prabowo-Gibran Yakin MK Rejects Lawsuit Results Of The 2024 Presidential Election Due To Lack Of Evidence
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Silfester Matutina, admitted that she was sure that the Constitutional Court (MK) would reject the lawsuit against the results of the 2024 presidential election because it was not supported by valid and accurate evidence.
It is known that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and serial number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD filed a dispute over the results of the presidential election. Meanwhile, the respondent's party is KPU and pair number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"We believe that the 01 and 03 teams do not have strong evidence. Prabowo-Gibran has never attempted to cheat," said Silfester in his statement, Thursday, April 18.
Silfester added that during the campaign, TKN Prabowo-Gibran had carried out blusukan to various regions. The public's enthusiasm for this couple is considered high, which is also supported by various social activities such as distributing free milk to children.
"We have tried to approach the community, explain the Prabowo-Gibran program, and get their blessing. We are confident that with the support of the people and God, Prabowo-Gibran will win," explained Silfester.
Silfester emphasized TKN's commitment to maintaining integrity and honesty in the 2024 presidential election. He believes that the presence of Jokowi, Prabowo, and Gibran is strong enough as the key to victory, without the need to cheat.
Regarding the issues raised by the opposing camp which he considered demeaning to his party, Silfester said that the 01 and 03 teams had actually understood that they would lose. Therefore, various negative issues emerged against Jokowi, Prabowo, and Gibran.

"These issues are only an effort to shift focus. As stipulated in Article 299 paragraph (1) and Article 281 paragraph (1) of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections, the president and officials of other countries have the right to campaign," said Silfester.
Currently, 8 judges at the Constitutional Court are holding a judge's deliberation meeting (RPH) to make a decision regarding the dispute over the results of the 2024 presidential election. The Constitutional Court's decision will be read out at an open plenary meeting on Monday, April 22.
