The Status Of Mount Ruang In Sitaro, North Sulawesi, Rises To Alert

MANADO - Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) raised the status of Mount Ruang in Sitaro Islands Regency, North Sulawesi to Alert.

"The status has been raised to Alert level III," said Head of the Center for Monitoring of Volcano and Disaster Mitigation for the Land Movement of Sulawesi and Maluku, Juliana DJ Rumambi, in Manado, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 16.

Previously, at 10.00 WITAPVMBG raised the status of the volcano on the Island of Ruang from Normal to Alert level II.
