The Body Buried At A House In West Bandung, Police Call The Victim's Property Lost
The police are investigating the discovery of the body of a man in a rotting condition buried under a ceramic layer in his house at the Bumi Citra Indah Housing complex, West Bandung Regency, West Java.
Cimahi Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Aldi Subartono said the body of the identified man named Didi Hartanto (42), an honorary employee at one of the ministries whose family reported missing since March 30, 2024.
"Departing from there, we formed an investigative team which was also backed up by the West Java Police Ditreskrimum to find out whether it was lost because of normal or unnatural things," Aldi said in West Bandung, Tuesday, April 16, as quoted by Antara.
Based on the results of the investigation, said the Police Chief, a number of irregularities were found in the victim's house. Some of the property belonging to the victim is missing and the house is in an unnatural condition.
"The team sniffed out irregularities about the disappearance of this victim. The irregularities were based on the initial crime scene," he said.

The police chief added that the body was then taken to the Sartika Asih Hospital in Bandung for an autopsy to determine the cause of death of the victim.
Regarding the discovery of the body, he suspects that the victim was killed and the police have arrested one suspect, but his identity has not been disclosed.
