Chairman of the Indonesian General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) Rahmat Bagja said his agency is ready to face 270 cases of Dispute in General Election Results (PHPU) for Legislative Members Election (Pileg) at the Constitutional Court (MK).
"It is possible that we (the leadership of the Indonesian Bawaslu), me, Mr. Herwyn and Mrs. Lolly, Mr. Totok and also Mr. Puadi will divide the five of us in attending the trial at the Constitutional Court," said Bagja at the Indonesian Bawaslu Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 16, which was confiscated by Antara.
In addition, Bagja also prepared the supervisory committee (panwas) ad hoc in the context of special preparation for the PHPU Pileg at the Constitutional Court.
"We will ask for the information. If we can't, maybe we hope that the district/city Bawaslu can provide information in lieu of the sub-district supervisors who cannot attend," he said.
"We have to finish this until the end of the next month and mid-May. We hope everything will be finished," he said.
Bagja added that Bawaslu could not present the supervisor of the polling station (PTPS) in the PHPU Pilleg trial because his tenure had expired.
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Court will accept the conclusion of the 2024 presidential election dispute trial or PHPU this Tuesday.
"The conclusion is submitted to the Constitutional Court through officers in the secretariat," said Head of the Legal Bureau of Administration and Maritime Affairs of the Constitutional Court Fajar Laksono when contacted, Monday, April 15.

Fajar said that the conclusion of the trial should be submitted by all parties involved in the presidential election dispute. In this case, the legal team of the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair as the applicant one and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md as the applicant two.
Furthermore, the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia as the respondent, the Defenders Team Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the related party, and Bawaslu. This conclusion will be the last bullet for the parties in this presidential election dispute.
"It should be submitted by all parties because this conclusion is in the interest of the parties to support standing (positions), arguments, and their respective petitums," he said.
Fajar informed that the reading of the 2024 presidential election PHPU decision is scheduled for Monday, April 22, 2024.
