Aiptu Supriyanto Returns Rp100 Million Left Behind By Homecomers, DPR: Other Police Deserves To Be Imitated
JAKARTA - Commission III of the House of Representatives appreciates Aiptu Supriyanto's behavior after returning the homecoming bag containing Rp100 million which was found left in the rest toilet area of Km 116 A of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road, Central Lampung.
The legal commission considers Aiptu Supriyanto's actions as a commendable attitude and should be imitated by other police officers. "The actions of members of the police deserve us to give a thumbs up, and we appreciate it for making the name of the police institution proud," said member of Commission III of the DPR, Supriansa, Tuesday, April 16. "Aiptu Supriyanto is a good person and can be an example to everyone. The rescue action is a commendable attitude," continued the Golkar legislator. Similarly, a member of Commission III of the DPR RI from the PKS faction, Nasir Djamil, said that the action of Aiptu Supriyanto needed to be emulated. According to him, the action shows that the police are a servant and protector of the community is not a mere thumbs up. And can restore public trust. "A member of the police who is on duty and returning the bag containing Rp100 million deserves appreciation and makes it real to restore public trust in the police institution," said Nasir, Tuesday, April 16.
Nasir hopes that Aiptu Supriyanto's commendable attitude will be contagious to other police officers when facing the same thing and other incidents. "The attention from the leadership is certainly expected so that the good actions of the police officers become an encouragement for others," he said. It is known that Aiptu Supriyanto managed to save the travelers' bags containing Rp100 million in cash on Sunday, April 14, at around 07.00 WIB. Aiptu Supriyanto was initially on foot patrol while giving an appeal to travelers in the rest area. Before long, he found a bag in the rest area toilet.
When they found the bag, Aiptu Supriyanto then took it to the post to be checked with security officers and cleaning service rest area.
"When it was opened, it contained cash denominations worth approximately Rp. 100 million.
