The Functional Line For The South Japek II Toll Road, Sadang-Kutanegara Segment, Was Closed This Afternoon
JAKARTA - The functional lane for the Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road (South Japek II) of the Sadang-Kutanegara Segment towards Jakarta, which was previously opened on Sunday, April 14, since 14.25 WIB, the police discretion has been closed at 17.00 WIB.
"The functional path of the South Japek II Toll Road is closed due to police discretion by looking at the current traffic congestion conditions on the Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta has been decomposed," said PT Jasamarga South Japek President Director Charles Lendra in a written statement, Sunday, April 14.
Jasa Marga urges people who make return flows through toll roads, ensure travel readiness, including meeting travel requirements, ensuring the condition of drivers and vehicles in prime condition and roadworthy, preparing supplies and ensuring sufficient fuel and electronic money balance.
Previously, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through its subsidiary PT Jasamarga South Japek (JJS) operated the functional route of the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road (South Japek II) of the Sadang-Kutanegara Segment towards Jakarta.
The opening of the functional lane for the South Japek II Toll Road, Sadang-Kutanegara Segment, on Sunday, April 14, starting at 14.25 WIB.
Road users from the direction of Bandung can enter the functional lane of the South Japek II Toll Road, Sadang-Kutanegara Segment through KM 76+400 Cipularang Toll Road, out to Sadang. Then, turn back above the Interchange to the functional toll road.

After passing a functional 8.5 kilometer (km) path, road users will pass a 15-20 km non-toll road to re-enter the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta via the East Karawang Toll Gate (GT) at KM 54 or West Karawang GT at KM 47.
"The diversion of traffic flow to the functional lane of the South Japek II Toll Road is currently being carried out to maximize traffic distribution as well as break down traffic congestion to the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from the Bandung direction," said PT JJS President Director Charles Lendra in a written statement, Sunday, April 14.
However, the functional lane for the South Japek II Toll Road is opened only for small/class I vehicles or nonbuses with a maximum speed of 60 Km/hour of vehicles.
