This Is The Reason Marc Marquez Moved To Gresini, Even Though He Was Paid Not As Big As Honda
JAKARTA Marc Marquez's move to the Ducati satellite team, Gresini left a question mark. For what reason are the MotoGP top riders willing to move away from the Honda factory team, which has given him wealth and glory?
Marquez said that he was not paid well by Gresini. Although he did not mention the amount, he said the money he received from Gresini was not as big as he got from Honda.
"Money is indeed an important thing, but that is not the reason for my move. I am in a critical moment, and must make changes immediately. These changes will make me competitive again, and open up opportunities to become a MotoGP champion seven times," said Marquez, as quoted by DAZN.
At the age of 31, Marc Marquez's opportunity to take part in MotoGP is indeed not long. He still wants to climb the championship podium, while conditions at Honda are not possible for him to make dreams come true.
