Eid Backflow, Jasa Marga Operates The Colomadu-Ngawen Functional Toll Road
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) through its subsidiary PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ) has started operating the functional route of the Jogja-Solo Toll Road today. The operation of this functional toll road is to support backflow according to the schedule in one direction on 12-15 April 2024 at 06.00-17.00 WIB from Ngawen to Colomadu.President Director of PT JMJ Rudy Hardiansyah said that during this period, the functional route for the Jogja-Solo Toll Road will operate in one direction from Ngawen (Klaten)/GT Karanganom access to GT Banyudono (for Boyolali and/or Kartasura) and GT Colomadu (for the purpose of the Trans Java Toll Road). He said, the same as the homecoming period, for road users from Jalan Raya Solo-Semarang who headed to the Trans Java Toll Road were also diverted through GT Banyudono to continue their journey through GT Colomadu."Outside of the predetermined functional path implementation date and time, the flow of traffic to and from GT Colomadu returns to normal using existing access," Rudy said in his official statement, Friday, April 12.With a longer path, said Rudy, his party hopes to provide more optimal service to the community because this functional route can be an alternative way to avoid traffic congestion that often occurs at the Kartasura Delanggu Monument and Solo-Yogyakarta Highways.By passing through this functional route, the public does not need to pass 15 points of Traffic Signer Light (APILL) as well as travel time from Klaten to Toll Road Access (GT) Colomadu only 25 minutes when compared to national roads.
"PT JMJ is optimistic that this functional toll road can also support the backflow of travelers or tourists who want to return to their respective hometowns," he added.
