Jokowi's Last Open House Becomes President, Residents Start Coming To The State Palace
JAKARTA - The public began arriving at the State Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday to stay in touch with President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo on the first day of Eid.
Reporting from Antara, at around 08.40 WIB, public queues were seen at the entrance gate of the State Secretariat, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 10.
They must queue to be able to enter the State Palace in Jakarta.
The Presidential Secretariat does not limit people who want to stay in touch with the President and First Lady at the State Palace in Jakarta.
Apart from the President, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and his wife Wury Ma'ruf Amin also held a funeral service at the Vice President's official residence in Jakarta, Wednesday. Previously, President Joko Widodo together with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin performed Eid al-Fitr 1445 H prayers at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, Wednesday morning.
The President and Vice President entered the main space of the Istiqlal Mosque simultaneously at around 06.50 WIB.
The President wore a white shirt with dark trousers, while the Vice President wore a white Muslim shirt combined with a suit and sarong.
