First Day Of Eid, Basuki Hadimuljono Wants To Visit The Tomb Of The Former Minister Of Public Works
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono plans to visit the grave of the former Minister of Public Works on the first day of Lebaran 2024.
This was revealed by Basuki after the Eid prayer with his wife and employees at the PUPR As-Salam Ministry Mosque, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 10.
"Before going to the open house at the palace (presidency), if there is something worthy (visiting) seniors first. (Like) Radinal Mochtar (Minister of Public Works for Development Cabinet IV), then Suyono Sosrodarsono (Minister of Public Works Development Cabinet VI)," said Basuki.
After the pilgrimage, Basuki accompanied by his wife will go straight to the presidential palace to attend the 'open house' held by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Even so, Basuki did not deny that the momentum of Lebaran 2024 was only celebrating alone with his wife. Because, his three children are celebrating at their respective in-laws' homes.
"This is my son who happens to be at his respective in-laws' place. That's his turn. Yes, (celebrating Lebaran) it's just the two of me (with my wife). Two (children) in Jogja, one in Serpong," he said.

According to Basuki, this Eid momentum feels better than in previous years. Because Indonesia has gone through the COVID-19 pandemic.
"From the pandemic, my tarawih was at home with Pak Ustad. Yes (Lebaran 2024) God willing, it will be better, more solemn," he explained.
He also hopes that the momentum of Eid al-Fitr 2024 can make himself and his family a better human being. "Hopefully it's better (in the future)," he added.
