President Jokowi Hopes Eid Al-Fitr Becomes A Momentum Of Forgiving Each Other
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) hopes that Eid al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1445 Hijriah will be a momentum for people to forgive each other and stay in touch to re-knit brotherhood into a harmonious nation.
This hope was conveyed by President Jokowi when he congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1445 H virtually followed by the Presidential Secretariat network in Jakarta, Tuesday night.
"Hopefully on this fitri day, we can forgive each other and stay in touch to re-knit brotherhood into a harmonious and peaceful nation, which is united in building Indonesia," he said.
In the video with a duration of about 1.23 minutes, it shows President Jokowi accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo who is dressed in a harmonious dress in a white shirt against the background of the Jakarta Presidential Palace Complex.
"I and the First Lady wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri, sorry to be born and inner," he said.

On that occasion, the President expressed hope that the homecoming trip would be smooth and safe to reach its destination.
"For ladies and gentlemen who are going and going home, have a good stay in touch with relatives and extended family. I hope the journey is smooth and safe," he said.
Closing his statement, the Head of State conveyed a prayer for the Indonesian people to always be delegated to blessings and protection from Allah SWT.
"May Allah SWT delegate his blessing and always guide and protect us all," he said.
