Kalideres Terminal Provides 50 Buses To Help Lebaran Travelers Running Out Of Tickets
JAKARTA - Kalideres Terminal provides 50 assistance buses for travelers who run out of tickets on D-1 Lebaran or April 9, 2024 to three favorite destinations, namely Central Java, Padang, West Sumatra and Palembang, South Sumatra.
"If tickets are not found, assistance buses will be prepared later. There are approximately 50 aid buses, we have prepared them for Sumatra, Java, especially for favorite destinations, Central Java, Padang, and Palembang," said Head of Kalideres Terminal Revi Zulkarnaen at Kalideres Terminal, West Jakarta as quoted by Antara, Tuesday.
Even though they have implemented online ticket sales, to get tickets for the assistance bus, Revi said that travelers must buy tickets directly at Kalideres Terminal.
The Kalideres Terminal estimates that the number of passengers at the terminal on D-1 Lebaran or April 9, 2024, until 24.00 WIB will reach 2,000 people.
The Kalideres Terminal also estimates that the number of buses carrying the travelers will reach 150 buses with the three most destinations for travelers or favorite destinations, namely Central Java, Padang, and Palembang.
Previously, the peak of homecoming at Kalideres Terminal had occurred on D-3 Lebaran or Sunday (7/4) with the number of travelers reaching 6,511 people by bus as many as 326 buses. When compared to Lebaran in 2023, there was an increase in the number of travelers.

"This year there was a significant increase last Sunday as many as 6,511 people. However, the previous day the number was the same as the peak of the 2023 Eid homecoming, as many as 5,655 people," said Revi.
Regarding security, Revi conveyed that the joint personnel at the integrated security post to this day had not received any complaints from travelers regarding security issues.
"Alhamdulillah, until now we have not received a complaint that a criminal act or something else has occurred, which interferes with or harms passengers. Earlier I also checked, it was still empty," he said.
