Heru Budi Concerning Immigrants Of Fate To Jakarta: The Important Thing Is To Be Able To Work, Have A Place To Live
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government recommends the ability to work and live houses for newcomers who want to try their luck in DKI Jakarta after the 2024 Eid holiday.
"That's the right of all citizens, the important thing is that they can work well, they have a house to live in. The local government will ask the public for it," said Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono after accompanying President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to distribute social assistance in front of the Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, April 8.
He said that every newcomer in Jakarta must be recorded administratively at the Population and Civil Registry Office during the 2024 backflow.
It is predicted that there will be a slight population increase in Jakarta after the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1445H based on the records of changing ID cards to the authorities.
"But with the current conditions, controlling population administration, there are more processes that come out than those that enter," he said.
According to Heru, the number of migrants in DKI Jakarta will usually be monitored a week after the Eid holiday.
"This is one week after returning, we will check how it is," he said.

Heru appealed to people who intend to compete with fate in Jakarta to ensure that they get a good job and of course become Jakarta residents who are disciplined and do not litter, can mingle with the people of Jakarta, and maintain security, cleanliness and others.
In addition, Heru also appealed to the public who would return to Jakarta to pay attention to weather conditions, and to arrange travel times so as not to get stuck in traffic jams.
"Back to Jakarta, the homecoming is usually more crowded because they have time to return from the village on the last holiday, so the peak is on Sunday," he said.
