Anticipating Lebaran Homecoming, Current Diversion Is Implemented On The Nagreg Line
On Sunday, April 7, the flow of Eid homecoming was reported to be getting denser. As an anticipation, the Bandung City Resort Police, West Java, began to impose a diversion of the flow on the Nagreg Line, Bandung Regency, West Java on D-3 Eid al-Fitr,
Kasatlantas Polresta Bandung Kompol Mangku Anom said the diversion of traffic flow itself began on Sunday at 01.30 WIB until early morning due to the density of travelers crossing the route.
"The flow diversion on the Nagreg route is correct, we have also diverted the flow towards Leles because the Limbangan route is quite congested," said Anom in Bandung Regency, Sunday, which was confiscated by Antara, Sunday, April 7.
Anom conveyed that the implementation of this one-way is expected to prevent long traffic jams during the homecoming flow, especially in the southern route to Tasikmalaya and towards Central Java.
The diversion of the flow was carried out in Cagak Nagreg towards the current leading to Tasikmalaya. So that the homecoming vehicle is directed to turn right towards Garut.
One way around the Nagreg Cikaledong route, it really has to be collaborative. We have also coordinated with the Garut Police," he said.

He said that on D-4 Lebaran there had not been a peak of homecoming flow in the Nagreg area. Therefore, his party will continue to anticipate that the increase in vehicle flow will continue to be carried out until D-1 Lebaran.
"If you look at the number of passing by, it is still felt that there will be an increase in the number of vehicle flows in the following days. We are still anticipating that up to D-1 Lebaran there may still be an increase in the flow," he said.
Anom said that up to D-3 Lebaran, his party recorded a phenomenon of a spike in travel from travelers at night.
He appealed to travelers traveling at night to emphasize the importance of using adequate vehicle lights by paying more attention to road conditions and traffic flow.
"We see a trend of approximately four days ago, there were quite a lot of travelers who traveled, especially in Maghrib or after dinner hours. And it was quite varied, not only four wheels, two wheels too," he said.
