This Is A List Of 14 Indonesian Representatives At The 2024 Badminton Asian Championships, Without Apriyani/Fadia
JAKARTA - Badminton Asia Championship (BAC) or the 2024 Badminton Asian Championships will be held in Ningbo, China from 9-14 Apri. For this agenda, Indonesia sent 14 representatives who would fight for the title.
Indonesia was originally going to send 15 representatives of the 2024 Badminton Asian Championships, but that number decreased after the women's doubles Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti decided to withdraw to focus on recovery.
"We have consulted with the Medical Director of the PBSI AdHoc Team Prof. Nicolaas C Budhiparama and other national training doctors, it is recommended that Apri focus more on recovering his condition alone. It is still a bit vulnerable if he is included in the BAC," said Indonesia's national women's doubles head coach, Eng Hian in an official release quoted on Sunday, April 7.
With the resignation of Apri/Fadia, Indonesia only has two women's doubles at the 2024 Badminton Asian Championships. The two doubles are Ribka Sugiarto/Lanny Tria Mayasari and Rachel Alllessya Rose/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari.
Just like the women's doubles, the Indonesian men's singles number was also represented by only two names through Anthony Ginting and Jonatan Christie. Meanwhile, in the men's doubles, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana, and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin are ready to compete for the title.

Shifting to mixed doubles, this number has the most representatives through Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati, Adnan Maulana/Nita Violina Marwah, and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.
Meanwhile, in the women's singles number, Indonesia has Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, Putri Kusuma Wardani and Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo.
