Garuda Indonesia Experiences 31 Percent Increase In Passengers During The 2024 Eid Homecoming Flow
TANGERANG - A total of 82,168 passengers on Garuda Indonesia with its subsidiary, Citilink, went home during the 2024 Eid al-Fitr. The number of passengers is said to have increased by 31 percent compared to last year.
"This time recorded growth of 31 percent compared to the record number of passengers at the peak of the Eid homecoming departure flow last year which recorded 63 thousand passengers," said Garuda Indonesia President Director Irfan Setiaputra in his statement, Sunday, April 7.
Irfan also noted that flights where the highest routes are located are Denpasar, Makassar, Yogkarta to Semarang. Meanwhile, the highest international destination is Singapore.
Therefore, his party must provide optimal service for the convenience of its users. So that the application of this red plate continues to increase in terms of service.
"That's why we) optimize production capacity, especially related to the availability of safe and comfortable air accessibility services to serve the travel needs of service users," he said.

On the other hand, Irfan also said that ticket prices did not increase or exceed the Upper Limit Tariff (TBA) for five years. "We have never raised prices, our TBA has never increased for 5 years," he said.
