A Total Of 4,183 Vehicles Pass The Bengkulu-Taba Pananjung Toll Road Since D-7 Lebaran

He mentioned that on April 3 as many as 1,518 vehicles passed the Bengkulu-Taba Pananjung Toll Road, but it was still dominated by second-class vehicles such as coal trucks and others. Then on April 4 as many as 1,338 vehicles and April 5, 2024 as many as 1,307 vehicles that passed ahead of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah.Medya predicts that the peak of the homecoming flow of toll users in Bengkulu will occur on D-3 Idul Fitri or April 7, 2024, with a percentage reaching 50 percent when compared to the usual day of 1,100 vehicles. Furthermore, he said that for motorists who experienced a strike on toll roads, then his party provided a crane with a capacity of 18 tons and 25 tons to carry passengers up to the nearest gate without being charged.

Meanwhile, toll rates did not increase and remain the same as before, namely Group I around Rp. 22 thousand, Group II and II Rp. 33 thousand, and Group IV and V of Rp. 44 thousand from the entrance to the Bengkulu Toll Road to Taba Penanjung and vice versa. The tariff determination is in accordance with the instructions from the regulator, namely the Ministry of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) RI since January 12, 2023. Therefore Medya appealed to road users to ensure the adequacy of electronic money balances before crossing the Bengkulu - Taba Penjung Toll Road, in order to avoid accumulation of queues at toll gates.
