Note! Cipali Toll Road To GT Kalikangkung One Way Starting At 21.30 WIB
JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police assesses that the number of vehicles heading to the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, Semarang, has begun to increase. Korlantas decided to implement one way traffic engineering.
"The one way opening was carried out from KM 72 of the Cipali Toll Road to KM 414 GT Kalikanglung," said Head of Traffic Police, Inspector General Aan Suhanan in his statement, Friday, April 5.
The traffic engineering will be implemented around 21.30 WIB. Currently, officers at the location are cleaning the vehicle from KM 414 GT Kalikanglung to KM 72 Cipali Toll Road.
"At 19.30 WIB until 21.30 WIB, officers were cleaning the flow to prepare for engineering one way," said Aan.
The peak flow of travelers at the Kalikangkung toll gate is still predicted to occur on April 6, 2024.
Meanwhile, it is predicted that 193.6 million people will travel back and forth to Lebaran this year. That number increased by around 52 percent compared to Eid al-Fitr 2023 which was recorded at around 123 million people.
