Still Sloping, Traffic Corps Has Not Implemented One Way Homecoming Flow
PURWAKARTA - Korlantas Polri has not implemented one-way traffic engineering or one-way this afternoon at KM72 Cipali to KM 414 Kalikangkung because the flow of homecoming is still sloping, there is no traffic density.
"So it was temporarily postponed because the traffic flow had not yet entered our parameters, we issued traffic engineering, both contraflow and one way," said Head of Operations Section (Kabagops) Korlantas Polri Kombes Eddy Djunaidi as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 5.
According to Eddy, his party is still maximizing the existing road capacity for travelers to pass today, so there is no need for an intervestion in the form of traffic engineering.
"But we will continue to monitor it for development, whether it will be soon or even after breaking the fast," said Eddy.
Monitoring the development of traffic flow through CCTV spread across three corners, such as in Jatihasih and Cawang.
Traffic engineering one way or contraflow, he said, will be enforced if there is a revival of traffic flow on the toll road to the East.
"We will inform you later," he said.
Previously, the Korlantas Polri prepared to open a traffic engineering system of one way from KM72 to KM 414 Kalikangkung, based on a Joint Decree (SKB).
Facing the homecoming flow of Eid al-Fitr 1445H/2024, Korlantas Polri has prepared traffic engineering to prevent congestion, in the form of a one-way system, opposite direction (contraflow) and odd-even.
Although the traffic flow looks sloping, based on observations in the field, a number of travelers have been seen crossing the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

There are also travelers who carry their children's bicycles that are placed on the roof of the car.
In addition, the density of vehicles entering the rest area is also visible at KM57 GT Cikampek.
