Upgrade Sunset: BNB Badminton Will Completely Switch To Binance Smart Chain
JAKARTA - The BNBbank Chain blockchain network is preparing to enter a new chapter in its evolution with the launch of the Sunset upgrade. This transition, which is scheduled to be completed in June 2024, signifies a strategic shift for BNBbank Chain and its ecosystem.
Sunset upgrade will bring significant changes to the network. First, all full node operators are required to upgrade to version v0.10.20. This transition is an important step to ensure the smoothness and security of the network.
Second, BNB/BEP2 asset holders are urged to transfer their ownership from the BNBONG Chain mainnet (BC) to the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). This transfer is necessary to maintain the security and accessibility of user assets after the Sunset upgrade.

As part of a long-term strategy, the BNB Chain team has set a full closing of the mainnet BNBbank Chain in June 2024. Projects that use BEP2 infrastructure are encouraged to accelerate the binning process with BEP20 and migrate their assets to BSC.
This step aims to ensure the protection and continuity of users, as well as support the growth and scalability of the BSC ecosystem.
Despite Binance's active education efforts, not all projects registered with the BNBbank Chain have completed the binding and migration process.
