Police Deploy Anti-Begal Task Force On The 2024 Eid Homecoming Route In South Lampung
South Lampung Resort Police (Polres) personnel deployed an anti-role task force team and broken glass and throwing at several crime-prone points to secure the homecoming route in South Lampung.
South Lampung Police Chief, AKBP Yusriandi Yusrin said his party was deploying personnel to strengthen security at pedestrian bridges (JPO) and flyovers ahead of the 2024 Eid homecoming season.
"The task of BKO colleagues is to provide security to travelers who will pass the toll road. And will secure pedestrian bridges and flyovers to anticipate throwing stones at motorists who carry out homecoming," said the Police Chief in Kalianda, Lampung, Thursday, April 4, confiscated by Antara.
He said that as many as 60 BKO personnel from the Lampung Regional Police Ditsamapta had been received to be placed in all JPOs and flyovers along the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).
"This step is part of the efforts of the South Lampung Police to anticipate the potential for throwing stones at toll roads that could endanger the safety of travelers during the Eid al-Fitr 1445 H holiday in 2024," he said.

He also asked people who pass and live around the JPO and flyover not to take unlawful actions and to maintain a safe, comfortable, and conducive security and security situation, especially for travelers crossing the toll road.
Yusriandi Yusrin hopes that this effort can provide maximum protection for travelers and ensure smooth travel during the Lebaran homecoming season.
