Landslides Cover Three Roads In West Manggarai Successfully Handled

The landslide material that covered three road points in two villages of West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), was completed. Ia menjelaskan, titik longsor terparah yang telah dibersihkan terdapat di Wae Kea Desa Golo Riwu, Kecamatan Kuwus Barat, dimana tanah longsor menutupi jalan penghubung Hawe-Compang Kules-Golo Riwu.Kepala Desa Golo Riwu Edo Mense berterima kasih atas kesigapan pemda menangani tanah longsor yang menghambat aktivitas warga. "Ini membuktikan bahwa adanya pelayanan publik yang baik di dalam sistem Pemkab Manggarai Barat," katanya.Sebelumnya pada Selasa 2 April, Pemkab Manggarai Barat menerjunkan tim gabungan untuk membersihkan material longsor.Hujan deras dua pekan lalu di Kecamatan Ndoso mengakibatkan tanah longsor di Desa Tentang dan dua titik longsor Desa Momol.Sementara itu pada hujan deras pada Jumat 29 Maret, mengakibatkan tanah longsor yang menutupi jalan penghubung Hawe-Compang Kules-Golo Riwu, tepatnya di Wae Kea, Kecamatan Kuwus.Ia menambahkan, personel gabungan sudah dalam perjalanan ke lokasi dan memprioritaskan penanganan longsor di Kecamatan Kuwus, guna membuka akses bagi warga dua yakni Desa Compang Kules dan Desa Golo Riwu.
