The Attorney General's Office Opens Opportunities To Examine Officials In The Corruption Case Of Timah Jerat Harvey Moeis

JAKARTA - The Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office, Kuntadi, said it was possible that the investigative team would examine public officials in the alleged corruption case of tin trading in the PT Timah Tbk Mining Business Permit area.

"We'll see (the investigation process), we're still investigating," Kuntadi said when met by reporters at the Indonesian Attorney General's Office Building, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Thursday, April 4, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to Kuntadi, investigators will only examine relevant witnesses to find out the involvement of other parties in the corruption case.

Until now alone, he continued, the AGO's investigation team has examined more than 140 witnesses. One of the witnesses examined was the actress and wife of Harvey Moeis, Sandra Dewi.

Sandra Dewi's examination was carried out to find out the flow of hot money and other assets produced by Harvey.

"We are only limited to researching whether the accounts we have blocked have anything to do with it or not," he said.

Kuntadi hopes that the statements of the witnesses who have been examined can help investigators complete case files. Thus, the file can be completed and the case can be tried as soon as possible.

On Monday April 1, Jampidsus investigators conducted a search of the homes of Harvey Moeis and Sandra Dewi. Investigators confiscated two luxury cars, namely a black Rolls Royce car, and a red Mini Cooper S Countryman F60 with police number B 883 SDW.

The Rolls Royce car is known to be a birthday gift that Harvey Moeis gave to Sandra Dewi, which was published by them on their social media.

Ketut said that it was possible for the artist Sandra Dewi to come down for questioning by investigators.

"I'm not too far away. There are birthday gifts or not, but as long as investigators need to make light of a case, the main case that I'm talking about, that's all anyone can be called. Including his wife," said Ketut, Wednesday, April 3.
