Officially Launched On Vision Pro, Pocket Rocket Presents Rocket Visualization That Feels Real
JAKARTA Pocket Rocket is one of the best apps for space fans. The application was built using augmented Reality Kit (ARKIT) and has been launched on the AppleVision Pro. Pocket Rocket apps were created by three SpaceX fans, namely Tim Isenman, Aaron Abentheuer, and Kimi Talvitie. Since its launch, this application has been very interesting to use because it presents satisfying animations. Pocket Rocket users on iOS and iPadOS can present 3D models of various kinds of SpaceX rockets. During its animations, users can change the size of the rocket, enlarge the rocket scale, and rotate the rocket model with just a fingerpoint. These various experiences will be presented into Vision Pro, but with a more dynamic look. One of Pocket Rocket makers, Tim Isenman, also said that thevisionOS version will bring a much better experience than the iOS version. "(you) are able to stand side by side with the spacecraft, really feel like you are there with it, and fully understand how big and amazing this vehicle is," Isenman said via platform X.

One proof that Pocket Rocket for Vision Pro is much better is the theatrical experience presented in this application. Isenman explains that this app supports a 360-degree video experience so that animation can be much more real. "We have built a theatrical experience with 360 videos that fulfill our fantasy all about space exploration," said Isenman. You can watch the launch right next to the rocket or sitting outside the ISS as it orbits the earth. In addition to seeing various visualizations of SpaceX's rockets, this application is also useful for studying the various activities of Elon Musk's company, such as details of various rocket launches and information related to mission status. All exciting experiences from Pocket Rocket can already be felt by Vision Pro users. However, since this application has just been added to the VisionOS, its interface users are not as good as the apps available on the iPhone and iPad.
