Banten Police Deploy 3,708 Personnel To Secure Eid 2024
SERANG - Banten Police deployed 3,708 joint personnel in Operation Ketupat Maung 2024 to secure the flow of homecoming and return as well as the Eid 1445 Hijri long holiday.
Banten Police Chief Inspector General Abdul Karim conveyed that the Banten Police together with related stakeholders will carry out Ketupat Maung 2024 operations for the next 13 days starting from April 4 to 16, 2024.
"The total number of personnel deployed in Operation Ketupat Maung 2024 is 3,708 personnel, consisting of 2,477 personnel from the Banten Police, 243 TNI personnel, and 988 personnel from related agencies," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.
In addition, the Banten Police have also prepared 36 Security Posts, eight Service Posts and seven Integrated Posts.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Banten Al-Muktabar said that this troop deployment was carried out as a form of security guarantee and a final check of the readiness for the implementation of Operation Ketupat 2024.
"This troop schedule is carried out as a form of security guarantee and a final check of the readiness for the implementation of Operation Ketupat 2024 in the context of securing Eid al-Fitr 1445 H from the aspects of personnel, facilities and infrastructure as well as the involvement of related elements and other Kamtibmas partners," he said.
