6 Names Pass The Quality Selection Of Candidates For Ad Hoc HAM Judges In The Supreme Court, 4 People Hold Masters

The Judicial Commission (KY) said that six candidates for ad hoc judges of human rights (HAM) at the Supreme Court (MA) passed the quality selection.

KY member Taufiq HZ revealed that the six candidates for ad hoc MA judges were all male, with education levels covering as many as 4 master's degrees and 2 people holding doctorates.

"Prospectives who pass the selection have the right to follow the next stage, namely the health and personality selection which will be held on Sunday, April 4, 2024," Taufiq said at a press conference announcing the graduation of the selection of candidates for ad hoc human rights judges at the Supreme Court 2024 which was monitored online in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 3, was confiscated by Antara.

Taufiq said that the health selection will be held on April 22-23, 2024, while the selection of personality and competence will be held on April 24-30, 2024.

He also revealed that the six candidates for ad hoc HAM judges in the Supreme Court who passed the quality selection, namely Agus Budianto (Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Pelita Harapan University), Binsar Gultom (High Judge of the DKI Jakarta High Court), and Bonifasius Nadya Arybowo (Ad Hoc Tipikor Judge at the Bandung District Court).

Then, Darwis Marpaung (lawyer at Ulisen Tampuboloen & Associates), Mochammad Agus Salim (Lecturer of S-2 Faculty of Law, Trisakti University), and Suratin Eko Supono (state civil apparatus at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights DKI Jakarta).

He emphasized that the decision to pass the quality selection was final and could not be contested. Prospective ad hoc HAM judges in the Supreme Court who passed the quality selection but did not participate in the health and personality selection, he said, were declared dead.

"Selection participants are asked to ignore parties that promise to help success or graduation in the selection process," he said.

He also hopes that people with clear identities can provide written information or opinions about track records (integrities, capacities, behaviors, and character) for ad hoc human rights judges in the Supreme Court who pass the quality selection.
