Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport Opens Eid Command Post To Anticipate Passenger Surge
BADUNG - I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, has started to open the Eid 2024 transportation post as a form of anticipation of a surge in passengers, especially at domestic terminals.
General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Handy Heryudhitiawan estimates that 473,008 domestic passengers will use flight services during the period 3-18 April 2024, so that transportation posts will provide services for passengers experiencing difficulties.

The airport sees the importance of domestic Eid transportation posts based on the projected surge in passengers, namely from normal days serving 28 thousand passengers a day now it is predicted to reach 33 thousand a day.
In total, for 16 days I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is estimated to serve 1,012,005 passengers consisting of 473,008 from domestic and 538,997 international passengers.
The Eid 2024 transportation post was built between arrival and domestic departure gates which could potentially experience a peak arrival on April 7 with 33,300 passengers and a peak return on April 14 with 33,846 passengers.
