"Yes, they were invited. Moreover, if you (media) invite me, I will definitely be present," said Muhadjir when met after the 2024 Ketupat Operations Forces Ceremony at Monas, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.

Muhadjir admitted that he had received an invitation from the Constitutional Court as the party he needed to hear his statement.

"Yes, I have received it," he said.

According to Muhadjir, there was no special preparation in the face of the Constitutional Court's invitation.

"There is no preparation, I want to ask everything we have done so far," he said.

Muhadjir also said that he had asked the President for permission to fulfill the Constitutional Court's invitation, and had obtained permission.

"Yes, the minister is an assistant to the President," he said.

In fact, he had to cancel his trip to Egypt to deliver humanitarian aid from Indonesia to Egypt and Sudan which were released by the President this morning.

"God willing, I will attend. I should have gone to Egypt to deliver the aid that was released by the President. However, because there was a call from the Constitutional Court, I decided to fulfill the call," he said.

Previously, the Constitutional Court scheduled the summons of four ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet to attend as parties who needed to be heard at the 2024 PHPUPilpres follow-up hearing, Friday (5/4).

"It is necessary to convey to the parties that Friday will be reserved for summoning parties deemed necessary by the Constitutional Court, based on the results of the meeting of His Majesty the judges this morning," said Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK) Suhartoyo, Monday, April 1.

Based on the results of the judge's deliberation meeting, Suhartoyo said, the four ministers scheduled to summon him were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.

In addition to the four ministers, the Constitutional Court also scheduled summons for the Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKPP).

Suhartoyo emphasized that the summons of the five parties categorized as important to hear his statement by the Constitutional Court was not a form of accommodation for applications from the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD camps.
