West Java Police Chief Ensures Sukabumi Homecoming Route Security Readiness

JAKARTA - West Java (Jabar) Police Chief Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus ensured security readiness on the Sukabumi Regency homecoming route by conducting direct inspections at several locations in the area.

"Our arrival is to ensure that all facilities and infrastructure as well as adequate personnel are in securing the flow of homecoming to the return of Eid in the Sukabumi area," Wiyagus said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 2.

From observations at the location, the Regional Police Chief directly led the inspection of the readiness to secure the homecoming flow and return to Lebaran 2024 in the jurisdiction of the Sukabumi Police, accompanied by the Head of the Sukabumi Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Tony Prasetyo Yudhangkoro.

One of the locations for the inspection was the integrated post at the Parungkuda Toll exit. The Kapolda and his entourage continued their inspection at the Sukabumi Police TMC Post and after that returned to the Bocimi Toll Road to Bogor.

In Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2024, the Kapolda ordered that the activities to secure the flow of homecoming and return to Lebaran run optimally so as to provide a sense of security and comfort for the community, especially travelers.

At the same location, Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Tony Prasetyo Yudhangkoro added that in securing the homecoming and return flow as well as the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah, his party synergized with all relevant agencies and institutions so that during the homecoming and homecoming season, Lebaran did not have a traffic accident (zero accident).

"The smooth flow of homecoming and return in the jurisdiction of the Sukabumi Police is our target. Therefore, cooperation with various elements, such as the TNI, Sukabumi Regency Government and volunteers continues to be strengthened because it is the key to success in securing the flow of homecoming to the return of Eid," he said.
