Dragon's Dogma 2 Successfully Sold 2.5 Million Units Globally
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) has announced that worldwide sales of Dragon's Dogma 2 have now exceeded 2.5 million units.
The Dragon's Dogma series consists of action games in a fantasy setting where adventurers in the world of swords and magic are wide open.
Since the release of its first game in 2012, the series has received worldwide praise for gameplay features such as "pion" adventure companions who can carry out their own actions, so that the series sold more than 10 million units cumulatively, Capcom wrote in its official statement.
Present twelve years after the original version, Dragon's Dogma 2 is an action game with a wide open world setting with high degrees of freedom.
The game allows players to enjoy a complicated and over-reliance-made fantasy atmosphere while providing a sense of adventure in groups of up to four people while playing solo thanks to an AI-controlled pion character acting as a travel companion.
In its launch, Capcom has carried out various global promotional activities with the aim of attracting not only old fans of this series but also newcomers, including the launch of a free app that allows users to create their player avatars before the game is released.
