JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BPKM) Bahlil Lahadalia was reprimanded by members of Commission VI DPR RI for accusing Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif of being a PDI-P cadre.
This began when Bahlil, who denied media reports that stated that the lifting of 2,078 Mining Business Permits (IUP) was carried out by the Investment Acceleration Task Force chaired by Bahlil.
According to him, the verification and recommendations for the revocation of the unproductive IUP were fully carried out by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif.
"That is really the result of identification by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, whose incident is PDIP cadres," said Bahlil.

Bahlil's statement was later refuted by Member of Commission VI DPR RI, Deddy Sitorus. He said the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources was not a PDIP cadre and asked Bahlil to withdraw his statement.
"I think the Minister (ESDM) is not a PDIP cadre, sir. Withdraw it! Because of cadres, later Mrs. Sri Mulyani (Minister of Finance) will be called a cadre, Mr. Basuki (Minister of PUPR) is said to be a cadre," said Deddy.
After being reprimanded, Bahlil then withdrew his statement.
"Oh, I'm wrong. I'm sorry. I said Bismillah, I took my words out, I'm sorry Mr. Deddy if that's wrong. We are fair, gentle," said Bahlil.
