Indomobil Partners With GAC Aion, Will Develop To Distribution Of Electric Cars In Indonesia
JAKARTA - The Chinese car brand is increasingly decorating the Indonesian automotive market, now the latest is GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., as a subsidiary of GAC Group which officially announced a strategic partnership with Indomobil Group.
On this occasion GAC appointed Indomobil Group to distribute GAC Aion electric cars in Indonesia, where this collaboration was carried out through the signing of the Distribution Agreement.
Later, the two companies will introduce and develop the GAC Aion brand in Indonesia, and PT Indomobil Energi Baru has been officially appointed to handle the distribution, sale, and complete sale of GAC Aion products.
"In line with Indomobil Group's commitment and the active role of corporations in reducing carbon emissions, we are proud to present GAC Aion as one of the top 3 electric vehicle manufacturing in the world," said Indomobil Group President Director Jusak Kertowidjojo, at the signing ceremony at Indomobil Tower, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 2.
As is known, GAC Group is a large company and automotive group with the most complete industrial chain in China, the company owns 4 major passenger car brands such as GAC Toyota, GAC Honda, GAC Motor and GAC Aion.

As a GAC Group subsidiary founded in 2017, and aiming to become a world-class intelligent electric vehicle brand along the EV (EV battery) + ICV (smart connected vehicle) development path," said GAC Aion's Managing Director New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd Mr. Gu Hui Nan.
