Chief Justice Of The Constitutional Court Reprimanded The Chairman Of The KPU At The Session: Mr. Hasyim Sleep, Yes?
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK) Suhartoyo reprimanded the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari in the midst of a dispute over the results of the 2024 presidential election (PHPU).
Suhartoyo revealed this brief warning after hearing the expert testimony submitted by the Ganjar-Mahfud camp, namely the professor of IPB Didin S. Damanhuri. Continued, the submission of questions by the Ganjar-Mahfud legal team as the applicant to the expert.
After that, it was the turn of the respondent, namely the KPU who was given the opportunity to ask the expert. When Suhartoyo looked at the KPU, he saw Hasyim Asy'ari lying down. Suhartoyo immediately reprimanded Hasyim.
"From the respondent is there a question? Mr. Hasyim is sleeping, right?" Suhartoyo asked in the Court courtroom, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, April 2.
Instantly, Hasyim immediately enforced his sitting position after Suhartoyo was reprimanded. Hasyim had moved his two eyes. Suhartoyo also continued the trial and missed the opportunity for the KPU to ask questions.
Meanwhile, the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD camp today presented 19 witnesses and experts in the 2024 presidential election dispute trial. The head of the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis, said that of the 19 people presented, 9 of them were experts and 10 were fact witnesses.
The legal team of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud presented nine experts and 10 fact witnesses in the trial of the proof of the applicant who was scheduled to hear the testimony of the applicant's expert and witness as well as the ratification of additional evidence of the applicant.
