JCI Opens Slightly Down to 7,203, 163 Shares Drop
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Tuesday, April 2, 2024 weakened 1.62 points or 0.02 percent to 7,203,436 at 09.10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.
Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,204.92, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,209.53 and the lowest was 7,190.86.
The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 1.16 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 793.16 billion. There were 209 shares rising, 163 shares falling, and 192 shares flat.
The LQ45 Index weakened 0.23 percent, Japan's Nikkei 225 Index moved up 0.18 percent, the Hang Seng Index rose 2.24 percent, China's Shanghai Composite fell 0.25 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times rose 0.36 percent.

As for those who entered the ranks of Top Gainers, namely PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk (BREN) rose 100 or 1.85 percent to IDR 5,500, PT Chandra Asri Pasific Tbk (TPIA) rose 150 or 2.46 percent to IDR 6,250, PT ABM Investments Tbk (ABMM) rose 100 or 2.56 percent to IDR 4,000.
Meanwhile, among the top losers, shares of PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) fell 250 or 2.62 percent to IDR 9,300, shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) fell 125 or 2.21 percent to IDR 5,525, and PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy Tbk (CMRY) shares fell 100 or 2.02 percent to IDR 4,850.
