Shin Tae-yong Explains Nathan Tjoe-A-On Entering Last
JAKARTA - Nathan Tjoe-A-On has brought in 28 players brought by Shin Tae-yong to the U-23 Indonesian national team training camp (TC) in Dubai. Shin Tae-yong revealed the reason for including Nathan in the last minute.
Initially, the South Korean coach only called 27 players to leave for Dubai on Monday, April 1, 2024, morning WIB.
However, during the day it is known that Nathan's name is on the list.
"He (Nathan Tjoe-A-On) is still on the team list. For the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, we have to hand over 23 players, but 28 players have been announced," said Shin Tae-yong on Monday, April 1, 2024, afternoon WIB.
"So, we are pushing with the club and are still trying to get to the U-23 Indonesian national team. There is still time until the day before the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup match," he said.

Nathan's entry makes a list of players from abroad in the U-23 Indonesian national team even more. Nathan is on the list along with five other players, namely Marselino Ferdinand, Justin Hubner, Pratama Arhan, Ivar Jenner, and Rafael Struick.
These six players will compete with 22 other players who play in League 1 competitions. Later, of the 28 players who were called to attend the training camp, only 23 players entered the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup squad.
Before completing the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, Garuda Muda will first conduct a training camp (TC) in Dubai on April 1-11, 2024.
Apart from TC, Nathan and his friends are also scheduled to have a test match against Saudi Arabia on April 5, 2024, and the United Arab Emirates on April 8, 2024.
In the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, the U-23 Indonesian national team joined in Group A with the hosts Qatar, Australia, and Jordan.
